Meet your new creative team

· By Prasanth Veerina

Today we're launching Pixa, a creative team of AI agents with a computer built for the work.

AI can now open DaVinci Resolve on your Mac and edit a video. It can build a scene in Blender, retouch a photo with Nano Banana, and generate the shots you don't have with Seedance. The models are finally good enough to do real creative work and use the software you already use.

But a real production is never one task. It moves between apps and machines, piles up hundreds of files, and runs for hours, with every decision depending on the ones before it. Agents doing that work need more than a chat window: they need a computer of their own.

So we built one. Pixa joins your Mac, cloud GPUs, and the best generative models into a single computer where your agents do the work and you direct it. Start a job from your phone on the walk home, and your team keeps working after you close your laptop.

We built three pieces of it from scratch.

PxFS is a filesystem for agents working with generative media. It's semantically indexed and streams files on demand to wherever they're needed. Every generation, edit, reference, and decision persists, so Pixa works inside a real project instead of a context window that forgets.

PixaScript is a programming language for creative work. Instead of making one tool call at a time, Pixa writes a few lines that produce dozens of variations, transform hundreds of assets, or assemble a full sequence. Because it's code, the work can be rerun, edited, and reused. Prompts are disposable. Code compounds. We're open sourcing PixaScript today.

pxd is our distributed agent harness. It orchestrates models, tools, code, and files across your Mac and cloud GPUs as one machine.

Over the past year, coding agents let engineers hand off real work and multiply what they ship. Pixa brings that leverage to creative work, so one person can take on what used to need a studio.

Pixa is available today on the web, Mac, and iPhone, and your files and agents follow you across all three.

Give it something big.
